Naples: a city that cannot be seen all at once

Naples is one of those cities that keeps revealing something new around every corner.

Ancient Greek and Roman history, extraordinary churches, underground archaeological sites, Baroque masterpieces, lively markets, street food, cafés and neighbourhoods with completely different personalities: there is an enormous amount to discover.

And this is my first tip:

Don’t try to see everything.

Naples is a large and complex city. The best experience comes from choosing the right areas and allowing enough time to actually enjoy them.

This is the perfect option for travellers who want to experience the grander, more elegant side of Naples.

Full Day – The best of both worlds

If you have a full day, we can combine the Historic Centre and the Monumental Area into one complete private experience.

The day is designed at a comfortable pace, with time for a lunch break in between.

And this is Naples — so lunch should be part of the experience.

Depending on your preferences, we can stop for a traditional Neapolitan pizza or local street food, followed by an authentic Neapolitan coffee and a sfogliatella.

Because in Naples, food is not simply a break from sightseeing.

It is part of the culture.

Naples is extraordinary, but it can also be overwhelming if you don’t know how to navigate it.

The historic centre alone is full of streets, churches, archaeological sites, museums and hidden treasures. Add the monumental area, different opening hours, entrance tickets, traffic and the sheer size of the city, and planning a day can quickly become complicated.

This is why I strongly recommend choosing a private, officially licensed local guide.
